This new double album edition contains selections from János Sebestyén's recordings. The original tapes, recorded by Thomas Gallia between 1963 and 1970 in Milan, Brescia and Rovigo, have been meticulously restored for this publication by Marco Taio. The program includes organ concertos by Haydn and Handel, pieces for solo organ by Zipoli, Frescobaldi, Pasquini, Aldrovandini, Kozeluch, Speth and Walther, transcriptions of concertos for solo harpsichord by Bach and eight small preludes and fugues for organ traditionally attributed to Bach.
